Tomorrow I head off to Longwood University for October Fest. Most kids invite their friends for this event. I consider myself lucky that my daughter thinks of me as both her mom and her friend. I plan on leaving here tomorrow afternoon and I’m staying the entire weekend…in a dorm room. And I get to experience dining hall food. Shouldn’t I have experienced all of this stuff when I was 18??
The campus is expected to have lots of visitors, especially since there is a free concert this weekend. Dierks Bentley! Maybe I should wear a little white tank top?
