It’s official. I will be moving back to North Carolina the first weekend in April. I’ve found a cozy little condominium that I will call home, very close to Hickory, NC. Sometimes the speed with which my life changes shocks me. In a good way. Just last week I wasn’t sure if I’d be moving or staying put in Richmond. It wasn’t that I didn’t know that I wanted to be in North Carolina, it was just that, well, staying put just seemed easier at the time. Isn’t that the way? And isn’t that why so many people wake up down the road and realize they never did follow their dreams?
I’m following mine. My business, my new location… what’s next on the horizon? Perhaps a new love to share it all with?
Wow, I like the fact that you have “that” picture up there instead of the other ones that are usually there. More on that one later, but just thought I’d put my two cents in.
As for moving….as long as it is what you want, what you need, go for it. And one never knows what will be waiting down that road unless one walks it. Go for it, I say, grab the bull by the horns and ride on.
Hugs and prayers.
I lived in North Carolina when I was a kid. A little town call Goldsboro. It was right our side Seymore Johnson Airforce base, I think it was closed down in the 80′s. But I moved to Florida in the Mid-70′s when I was 7-ish. My brother went up there for a visit a few years back in an attempt to “reframe his life”.
The Carolina’s are beautiful, I may have to make a pilgramage back up there at some point.
Thank you!
